Hong Kong Trip - 25/10/2006 - 28/10/2006

Start Day 1.

My the other 2 friends ordered Hotdog with eggs.

Frist Day in the flight My meal: Chicken with mee

HKIA: Train

First meal once landed Hong Kong. Rice with cheese in a Kopi shop near by ourHotel. This cheese rice with codfish is really far better than "KimGary". My colleague Loong Koh's favourite.

Yummy....The Teh is sooo good to drink.

mmmm.....I'm not really favor in this meal as I don't like the smelly vege cook with egg plant. The portion is really big size and luckily we share together. Else stuff to dead!

We bought this Octopus card to travel around the HK places. It worth HK270 and valid for 3 days only.

We usually reference to the map to visit all the places.....our bible. Don't lose it!

Sek Sek Yuen - Wong Tai Sin. My two others friends make their respective wishes from "Wong Tai Sin".

Uhh....3 women were waiting for my relative at the "Time Square". Good, where ever I travel and I also have relatives around to take care of us!!!!

Hong Kong is really busy and always crowded with all the people. First time being there and feel like this will only happen during Chinese New Year in Malaysia (Petaling Street)

This is called "驰名双皮炖奶", "姜汁鲜奶", "香浓朱古力炖奶".

At 7.00pm, everyone's stomatch was making noise. Hehe....it time to have a good dinner now. My relative recommended us to try out the local Hong Kong food.

Yummy, first course is Spicy Clam. Quite hot and don't look down on hongkie...oh.

Course two, Vege "Kai Lan" cook with broccoli. Very nice too.

Course Three, Chicken. My friends said this course is very nice 2. But I don't favor in meat at the moment. Anyway not bad as I like the crispy chicken skin......

Finally, we have "薏米白果腐竹" with bird nest. So easily and you can taste the bird nest in Hong Kong. The longer you stay in Hong Kong, the better look you are!

After dinner and with a big and stuff stomatch, I guess everyone needs to do some exercise. Let's go to Hong Kong park. Hi Malaysian, please appreciate what you have enjoyed now and don't make so much of complains. See what happen to the hongkie, they have to play football on a concrete football field! Hongkie are very open mind as well, you will be able to see lots of couple are kissing and romance in the park. Children please stay away!

It is 9.00pm now, let's go for "Tong Sui"!

Look at the 芒果糯米卷! Are you hungry now?

Friend, this is called "招牌杨枝甘露". Open you eyes big big, see how big is the mango and pamelo! Really a big different with Tai Tong's one.

Wow....the smell is so strong........durian flavor! My the other friend does not like it.

I love it very much. Banana flavor.....sweet and yummy!

By the time of 10pm, each one of us were yelling to go back to hotel to have a shower and sleep. Really tiring!

End Day 1.

It has been quite a while that I did not update my HK Trip Day 2, 3, 4. I guess I may have forggotten some of the interesting stuff....hehe, so sorry for that. This time most of the posted photos were taken by my colleague and I were not able to make any nice shot.

Around 11am and we reached Jade Garden situated across from the Star Ferry terminus to have nice dim sum.

Steamed Chicken Feet in Black Bean Sauce. Looks delicious and I love it too!

This poridge is not bad also.

Pao.

Shrimp dumpling. That was really fresh!

Shrimp & pork dumpling (Sui Mai)

Deep fried prawn dumpling. I prefer steam shrimp dumpling.

Steamed Spare Ribs in Black Bean Sauce. I'm not so fancy in pork also like it now. Yummy!

Rice Noodle Roll with Scallop. This is our first time to try this out and we all love it!

Siu Loong Pao also quite nice!

Last but not least, Rice Noodle Roll with Shrimp.

On board to Ferry.

Nice view from the Ferry.

During lunch time now, you will see crowds in the busy street. (Hong Kong Island.)

After the ferry trip and we come to this shop to try out the egg tart and soft bread.

Mmmmm......I have no comment on this egg tart. Not so special about it, I still prefer those mini egg tart in M'sia.

Soft bread with sugar. Also not so special about it!

After enjoying the egg tart and we came to this place to have a long 8 chat.

It was 4pm and we still have not taken our lunch yet. We sugguest to have lunch at the "Yung Kee" restaurant to enjoy the roasted goose.

Appetizer before the meal~~"Century Egg"

Nice Vege.

I like this poridge. Damn nice and yummy!

We were still stuff with the breakfast and hence we only order quarter roasted goose. This is really yummy! The meat is soft and the gravy is a bit sweet cum sour. During my brother's wedding, I ask my sister in law's brother in law who is a Hongkee and he told me that we have visited an expensive restaurant. There are still many restaurants selling very nice roasted goose in HK. Nvm and this is really a good experience and never regret to try out the nice roasted goose in Yung Kee res.

A mosque.

The longest escalator in Hong Kong. Quite tiring to take this escalator as you need to walk down once reach the top.

Finally, after an hour of walk and thank god we reach the The Peak Tram station. Good to exercise too!

Ah Sian and Annie were queueing up to buy the ticket and I were buying a bottle of mineral water nearby the stall there. The Peak return ticket worth HK30.

The Peak Tram": "Oh our tram is here!"

Victoria Peak - a beautiful view from the peak. We been joking with each other and saying "Come and let's point out which building is not yours?"

After a heavy walk from the Victoria Peak visits. Ah Sian and I have ordered beef noodles mee and miss Annie order the Wan Ton noodles. See, izzit delicious?

End Day 2

Start Day 3

A disappointed breakfast at Sweet Dynasty. Since we have tried out the dim sum and really fall in love with it and hence we want to take dim sum as our breakfast again...hehe.

Sweet Dynasty Chinese Cutlery Set

The only dim sum "Poridge" we like in Sweet Dynasty Restaurant

Rice Noodle Roll with BBQ Pork. The rice noodle is too thick which is not nice to eat....

"Char Leong", mmmm....not nice too.

Fried Turnip Cake with Shrimp. We are too stuff or may be it was still morning and hence we just "ta-pao".

Steamed Spare Ribs in Black Bean Sauce & Steamed Chicken Feet in Black Bean Sauce. The pork is too salty!

Fried Noodle with Shrimp & Soy Sauce. This is too oily and we were not able to finish this dish and have to doggy pack for lunch meal. Haha...

Deep Fried Taro & Meat Dumpling. Still disappoint us....too salty

Ah Sian's choice.

I love mango and hence i have order mango sago...hehe.

Annie's choice and she said she cann't stand the coconut smell....ooo much coconut.

Oh, suddenly there was a guy offering us to help us to take our photos. He is so friendly....

After having an disappointed breakfast and we decided to go for shopping nearby. Mmmmmm......there are so much of shopping center and you can shop till you drop. Anyway we were not interested in shopping and did window shopping only.

After the shopping, we went to buy some biscuit for gifts to our friends. Especially Loong Koh sms to miss annie and reminded her to buy him a box of "Low Poh" biscuit....haha, he is not dare to border ah sian and I (We are too fierce, i think....kakaka). After that we headed back to hotel to unload the biscuit boxes and took our doggy pack in the hotel too. Surprisingly the doggy food become delicious this time, ah sian said may be we have mixed up the 2 dishes together and hence not so salty this time. Anyway, I guess we all were hungry that time and hence the food turned out to be delicious....haha.

This day and the trip was not so hurry and did not walk too much! Rich women trip ma.

Next we were heading to have some food to fill our stomach..."Tou Fu" & "Tou Fu Fa". This "Tou Fu Fa" is so so only.

This is really nice and we all love it very much and finally we have to re-order another 2 plates or else we would be craying for it again....hehe.

Before we start our walk in Petaling Street and we stopped by here to enjoy the spicy fish ball. Man, that is really spicy oh....!!!!

Women Street (Tung Choi Street) Indeed, what you can buy here is not limited to women's items anymore.

The stuff there not so special and it is just like our Petaling Street in KL. So after half way walked we decided to give up and to look for "Thong sui" again.

Finally we Hui Lau Shan http://www.hkhls.com. Must try and that is nice too.

Mango is really famous in HK and there are lots of different type of mango deserts.

I have ordered this and the tast is good too. I'm very particular when eating the papaya, anyway this one turned out good to eat!

On our way back to hotel and I cannot resist the Japanese food and hence we stopped by Hokaido Sushi restaurant. Mmmmmm.......I love the food there yummy. I still remember the California Roll, the avocado inside the roll was really big and fresh and so do the crab eggs. Even right now, I'm still craving for it and remember its taste! Besides, the way Hongkee operates the japannese restaurant is really lively too. All the staff will greet the customer when they entering the restaurant. So while you are enjoying the food and you will hear lots "yi yi wa wa" greeting.

This is our room and finally we reached our hotel to continue the show "肥田喜事"

End Day 3.
